Fall 2012 - Preliminary Design Study Phase continues

A Draft Design Study Report (DSR) will be submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission and will be posted to this website for public review. The Draft Design Study Report (DSR) provides the summary of the alternatives development and the detailed analysis for the selection of a preferred alternative to be carried forward to the next phase of the project, the Design Phase. Project Background

Turnagain Street and Turnagain Boulevard do not meet current Municipal roadway standards. This project will evaluate alternatives to upgrade the roadways to current Municipal standards to improve both pedestrian and driver safety. Improvements are expected to include a new road base, pavement, drainage system, pedestrian/bicycle facilities, and lighting. Both roadways are respectively, the numbers 1 and 2 priorities for the Turnagain Community Council.
